reDeZine LLC sells hand crafted bags and jewelry.   When I find small amounts of fabric or beads at thrift stores, garage sales, or the remnant section of a craft store I become inspired.  I like to take the things that some people would consider "scraps" or "leftovers" and make them into something that others could use and enjoy.  In a world where people are apt to "throw away" as opposed to finding a way to use what is left over, I find inspiration.  The majority of the fabric I find and make into larger pieces through quilting them together, thus making a whole new fabric.  This process makes it easier to create larger bags but also makes the items more individualized as no two pieces will have the same fabric pattern to them.   Items found at reDeZine  are unique as not many bags are made with each grouping of fabrics. When making items at reDeZine, I use the majority of the materials I have, very little ends up in the garbage.  Bigger scraps of fabric left from making a bag are then use to make smaller items like key chains or small gift bags.  Smaller scraps are used to help stuff pillows and make scent bags.  Finally, the ribbon and thread roll's that remain will are used to make fun crafts.  It makes me happy to be creating thing that hopefully others enjoy as much as I do.
